LFRE is a network of experts in solar, wind, grid, finance, public sector, business as well as Academics.

LFRE has partnered with the Issam Fares Institute at the American University of Beirut, contributing to green energy policy notes as well as co-authoring studies on the feasibility of the Tfail large scale solar plants in Lebanon. .

LFRE also worked in coordination with Strategy& and AUB on the evaluation of green energy mix scenarios for Lebanon. This included evaluating the macroeconomic impact of leapfrogging into green energy as well as all environmental and social impacts.

Additionally LFRE works closely with CNRS. Its initial collaboration included identifying potential solar plants on public land and in high irradiation areas. The second phase of the joint work included accurately mapping out potential solar and wind sites. For solar farms, it also included predesigning solar plants using the Terabase software.
